Chilli Paneer recipe


Prep time: 30 mins
Cook time: 15 mins
Total time: 45 mins
Serves: 3-4
                       
Ingredients
    For batter
  • 300 gm Paneer ( Cottage cheese)
  • 1/4 cup corn flour
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon soya sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • salt as per taste

  • For the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 medium capsicum cut into big pieces as shown in picture below
  • 1 medium onion cut into big pieces as shown in picture below
  • 1 teaspoon soya sauce
  • 1/4 cup spring onions ( optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1-2 green chilies( as per the taste) cut into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour mix with 5 tablespoon water
Instructions

METHOD – 

Batter
Cut paneer in small cube ( 1 * 1/2 inch) . Mix all the ingredient for batter except paneer and make smooth batter.


Now add all the paneer cubes in batter and let it marinated for 10 minutes.
Deep fry all the paneer cubes till golden brown.

Heat 1 tablesppon of oil and add garlic,ginger , chilies and onion, after 1 min add capsicum,soya sauce , sugar and corn flour (mix with 5 tablespoon of water)  and paneer cubes( stire it till all the ingredients mix well)


Chilli paneer is ready , you can garnish it with spring onion
