Father and Daughter Oscar Winning short film

This video is posted by KIS KIS on You Tube . The 2000 Dutch animated short film, "Father and Daughter," directed by Michaël Dudok de Wit, won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 2001.

The film tells a poignant and wordless story about a young girl who says goodbye to her father as he rows away on a boat. The film follows her life as she grows up, always returning to the same spot by the water, waiting and longing for his return. It's a beautiful and moving exploration of love, loss, and the passage of time.
