Makeup-Simple..How To Apply Step-by-step makeup for Beginners!

Smitha Deepak's beginner tutorials are known for focusing on simple, achievable looks using foundational techniques. A typical step-by-step video would likely cover the following sequence:

💄 Beginner Makeup Tutorial by Smitha Deepak: Video Description

This tutorial is designed for complete beginners, emphasizing an easy, everyday look using minimal products and simple blending techniques.

Step 1: Skin Preparation (Prep)

The video usually starts with skin care as the foundation:

  • Moisture & Prime: She advises applying a light moisturizer, followed by a primer (focusing on the T-zone or any area with large pores) to ensure makeup lasts longer and applies smoothly.

  • Color Correction (Optional): If needed, she might show how to use a peach or orange corrector under the eyes or around the mouth to neutralize dark circles or pigmentation before foundation.

Step 2: Base Application (Foundation & Concealer)

The focus here is on achieving a natural, flawless skin look:

  • Foundation: Applying a small amount of lightweight foundation using a damp beauty blender or a flat brush, blending it outwards from the center of the face for an even, non-cakey finish.

  • Concealer: Applying concealer only to areas that need extra coverage (like under the eyes in an inverted triangle shape) and using a tapping motion to blend it seamlessly.

  • Setting: Lightly dusting a setting powder over the T-zone and under-eye area using a fluffy brush to prevent creasing.

Step 3: Defining Features (Eyes & Brows)

The eye and brow look is kept simple for beginners:

  • Brows: Quick tips on filling in eyebrows using a brow pencil or powder—focusing on following the natural shape and using light, feathery strokes for a soft look.

  • Eyeshadow: Usually, a neutral, single eyeshadow shade (like a soft brown or nude) is applied across the entire lid and blended into the crease to add depth without complexity.

  • Liner & Mascara: Applying a simple thin line of eyeliner (liquid or pencil) close to the lash line, followed by generous coats of mascara to open up the eyes.

Step 4: Adding Color and Dimension (Blush & Contour)

This step adds life and dimension back into the face:

  • Contour/Bronzer (Gentle): Lightly sweeping a bronzer or a cool-toned contour powder under the cheekbones, along the temples, and under the jawline to add warmth and definition.

  • Blush: Applying a soft blush (cream or powder) to the apples of the cheeks and blending it upwards towards the temples for a youthful glow.

  • Highlighter (Subtle): A small amount of highlighter is often applied to the high points of the face (tops of cheekbones, tip of the nose, and inner corner of the eyes).

Step 5: Finishing Touch (Lips)

  • Lips: The look is completed with a simple application of a nude or everyday lip shade, often starting with a lip liner for definition, followed by a coordinating lipstick or gloss.

The video concludes with a close-up of the final, polished yet simple look, offering encouragement to beginners to practice these techniques.

Natural Ayurvedic Home Remedies for Headache, stomach ache, tooth ache and ear ache

Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine, offers numerous natural and effective home remedies for common aches and pains using simple kitchen ingredients and herbs.

Here are some popular Ayurvedic home remedies for headache, stomach ache, toothache, and earache:

Ayurvedic Home Remedies for Common Aches

AilmentKey Ayurvedic RemedyStep-by-Step Application
Headache (Sarvaroga)Ginger & Peppermint Oil* Ginger Tea: Boil 1 inch of fresh, crushed ginger in water. Strain and sip warm. Ginger helps reduce inflammation.
(Tension/Vata Type)Cinnamon Paste / Nasya* Paste: Mix cinnamon powder with water to form a thick paste. Apply this paste to the forehead and temples for relief.
* Nasya (Nasal Drops): For sinusitis-related headaches, warm a few drops of pure Ghee (clarified butter) and gently put 1-2 drops into each nostril while lying down.
Stomach Ache (Udara Shula)Ajwain (Carom Seeds) & Hing (Asafoetida)* Ajwain Drink: Boil 1 teaspoon of Ajwain and a pinch of Hing in 1 cup of water. Add a pinch of rock salt (kala namak) and drink it lukewarm to relieve gas and indigestion.
(Gas/Indigestion)Cumin (Jeera) & Ginger* Fennel/Cumin Tea: Chew 1 teaspoon of Fennel seeds (Saunf) after meals, or sip on tea made by boiling cumin seeds.
* Ginger Juice: Mix ½ teaspoon of fresh ginger juice with a small amount of honey and lick it slowly to soothe bloating and gas.
Toothache (Dant Shula)Clove Oil (Lavanga Taila)* Oil Application: This is the most famous remedy. Soak a small cotton ball in clove oil (or a few drops mixed with coconut oil) and gently place it directly on the affected tooth or gum area. Eugenol in clove acts as a natural anesthetic.

* Tulsi Juice: Extract a few drops of fresh Tulsi leaf juice and use it as ear drops for relief from infection and pain.

Important Ayurvedic Principles:

  1. Warmth is Key: For pain associated with Vata dosha (like gas, cold, or dry pain), applying warmth is essential. Use warm oils (like sesame oil) and warm drinks (ginger tea).

  2. Oil Pulling (Kavala Graha): Swishing 1 tablespoon of warm Sesame or Coconut oil in the mouth for 10-15 minutes every morning is a great practice for general oral hygiene, which can prevent toothaches.

  3. Consultation is Necessary: While these home remedies offer temporary relief for mild symptoms, if the pain is severe, persistent, or accompanied by fever, swelling, or discharge, you must consult a healthcare professional or an Ayurvedic physician to address the root cause.

Zindagi mere ghar aana...

Bawarchi- a very interesting old hindi film

This comedy film "Bawarchi" (1972), directed by the legendary Hrishikesh Mukherjee and starring Rajesh Khanna (in the title role), Jaya Bhaduri, and Asrani.

It is a classic "slice-of-life" Hindi film that focuses on family dynamics, the healing power of affection, and the idea that true wealth lies in happiness, not riches.

Bawarchi (The Cook) Plot Summary

The story, narrated by Amitabh Bachchan, revolves around the severely dysfunctional Sharma family living in a large house ironically named "Shanti Niwas" (Abode of Peace).

The Dysfunctional Family

The Sharma family is notorious in their town for their constant squabbling, bickering, and ill-treatment of domestic help. The family members, including the cranky patriarch Daduji (Harindranath Chattopadhyay) and his three sons and their families, cannot stand each other. Their internal conflicts are so intense that they cannot retain a cook for more than a few months.

The only genuinely kind and talented person in the house is the orphaned granddaughter, Krishna (Jaya Bhaduri), who is burdened with most of the household chores and the family's arguments.

The Arrival of Raghu

One day, a young, charming, and highly talented man named Raghu (Rajesh Khanna) arrives at the doorstep and volunteers to work as their new cook (Bawarchi). He agrees to an unbelievably low salary and starts his duties.

Raghu is not just a master chef; he is a polymath—a smooth talker, singer, dancer, musician, and an amateur psychologist.

The Transformation

Raghu takes on the challenge of bringing peace to "Shanti Niwas." Using his exceptional skills and positive attitude, he begins to subtly mend the family's deep-rooted conflicts:

  • He encourages the various family members to pursue their hidden talents (like music and dance).

  • He manages their egos and teaches them the value of cooperation and kindness.

  • He gradually resolves their daily squabbles over petty issues, bringing love and understanding back into the home.

The Twist and Climax

Just as the family finally finds happiness and begins to trust Raghu completely, a major crisis hits: the family jewels, which were kept chained under Daduji's bed, go missing, and Raghu disappears.

The family immediately suspects Raghu is a thief who used his charm to gain their trust.

In the climax, it is revealed that Raghu's true identity is "Professor Prabhakar," a social worker. He takes on the role of a domestic servant to help dysfunctional families like the Sharmas. He has indeed taken the jewels, but only to teach them a final lesson. He has hidden the jewels and left a note explaining that material wealth is secondary to the true treasure they found: family love and unity.

The film concludes with the family reunited and appreciating the new-found peace and affection, proving that Raghu achieved his mission.

(Plot Summary)
